JFK Communications is a growing public relations firm specializing in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. We are seeking an energetic and self-starting college student or recent graduate with excellent writing skills and an interest in healthcare public relations.
JFK Communications is nimble and focused on delivering high-quality service and measurable results for our clients. The internship experience at
JFK Communications is different in that you’ll be able to contribute directly to client work – building your resume instead of honing your coffee-making skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic media relations, including writing pitch scripts and letters, direct pitching to various media outlets
- PR Writing, including press materials, web content, client reports, strategic plans, etc.
- Research industry news and trends; support brainstorming and business development
- Developing and implementing strategic media relations plans, including traditional and alternative media
Required Experience
- Strong drive to work in healthcare public relations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player attitude
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Pursuing college degree in communications, journalism or related field
Candidates must be available to work 10-12 hours a week during normal business hours.
