This movie was cool and twisted at the same time. Scorpion's Revenge had some good acting, some pretty good action, an interesting storyline.

     The story is about Nami Matsushima who seems to be leading a happy life with her fiancé. They are going to get married, but her lover's life is a shady one and he has plenty of enemies. A car explosion claims his life and leads to Nami's arrest, because they believe she had the most to gain from his death. The whole life insurance thing bites her in the ass and she ends up in the Los Angeles women's prison.

     Just like in Caged Heat and other women's prison movies, the warden is corrupt, and the bad girls are absolutely horrible. This of course leads to the obligatory prison rape scene and the usual girl-on-girl violence us men crave. When the warden was speaking from the bible and one girl talked who shouldn't have, the warden motioned to a security guard who shot her in the foot with an arrow (That'll learn her). This of course made the one of my favorite characters. He plain and simple, kicked ass, because he was just a psycho who kept thinking he was doing what the Lord told him.

     Also, I liked the scene where a female guard finally gets tough and gets trigger happy, shooting her antagonists and other escapees during a prison break. The best scene was when the blind girl who was shot in the foot with an arrow, walks through the desert with Nami and is dying of thirst. To save her friend, Nami must slip her the tongue. I must remember that when walking with a girl through the desert. Also, the blind girl learns to shoot a gun by sound. This movie was a real pisser.

     Revenge is the name of the game and Nami's lover's enemies are being taken out one by one, but not by Nami. This is where things take a very American twist in an attempt to shock the viewer with something the viewer actually expects. However, the plot zigs in an unexpected way only to zag back to something that I thought was going to happen in the first place. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but the ending is pretty confusing, and I am not really sure what happened.

     Either way, Scorpion's Revenge is a cool movie, with decent fight scenes, gratuitous nudity that was appropriate, and most importantly, some really cute romantic scenes between the two lovers driving the movie. Scorpion's Revenge reminded me of the movie Double Jeopardy, just with nudity.
