Keiichi Morisato was an ordinary college student, who lived 'happily' taking phone messages for his brutish roommates. But one day while attempting to relay one of these messages Keiichi accidentally dials The Goddess Technical Help Line and woah and behold the goddess Belldandy appears to grant Keiichi one wish.
Keiichi, half in disbelief and in euphoria carelessly blurts out that he wishes that a goddess like Belldandy could stay with him always and in an instant the kind pretty Belldandy becomes Keiichi's eternal mate.
While 
this is whole goddess-for-life living arrangement is great for Keiichi-who has never been a ladies man; the arrangement will leave him homeless, because females are not allowed in his dormitory. But being thrown out on his bum is the least of Keiichi's problems, compared to the trouble Belldandy's big sister Urd will cause. Urd is a platinum haired tanned goddess who is acts more like a demon than a divine being. Urd introduces herself to Keiichi via a porno video, and aims to make sure that Belldandy and Keiichi go all the way, even if it means she herself has to take Keiichi under her wing and train him in the ways of intercourse.
Then there are the plethora of humans, gods, and demons who want nothing more than to destroy Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship, especially Sayoko and Toshiyuki; cousins, who would love nothing more than to break up Belldandy and Keiichi, to fulfill their own esteem and carnal pleasures. Then there is Mara, the demon, and a childhood 'friend' of Belldandy and Urd, who wants to wreak a little havoc on Earth.
However, those who dare try to sever Belldandy and Keiichi's relationship should beware, as the powers of the astral level are far stronger than they could imagine. Those who try to break the two face some nasty repercussions that could result in some serious injury.
What I like about this series is that for once the main characters are not trying to hide their love, rather it is embraced from the moment the story begins. The artwork perfectly compliments this story. The artwork is a mixture of a 'cartoony' style combined with such stark realism that the characters seem three-dimensional. And those who are fans of mechanical entertainment will love Kosuke Fujishima detailed designs of cars, motorcycles, and planes.
But readers beware; you will definitely take a liking to the wild and unpredictable Urd, who serves as one of the best comic reliefs in contemporary manga. This is a really cute series, which will be a favorite of those who are fans of the romance genre.
