Remember The Grinch movie? You know that piece of crap film that totally ignored all the principles of Dr. Seuss and made a vehicle for Jim Carey to act like a complete jerk and earn more money? There were a couple cool scenes in it, but nothing worth remembering and shelling out eight bucks to go see. One scene that I do remember is when The Who's of Whoville counted down the time until Christmas. Boy did they love that holiday, huh? I used to love the holiday, until I got a job that made me work the day after the event, so I couldn't enjoy any time at all with the wonderful gifts I got from family and friends. Oh well..
Guess what? There is a website that remembers Christmas all year long and counts down the days until the holidays from 365 to 0 (That's where the countdown from the movie came in). See, there is a reason for my rants. See, this site can make even the blackest of hearts learn to love Christmas once more. I'm now thinking of changing my name to Happy Fun Heart all thanks to Christmas.com.
Christmas.com is really cool. It is a very nice site to look at, containing simple white, green and red colors for the holidays. There is even some digitized snow that falls across your screen to give you that nice Christmas type feel. Then there are the links that seem to think of everything for the Christmas holidays. Every link takes you somewhere cool.
G ifts : This link will take you right to everyone's favorite sport; shopping. Here, you can search for the hottest Christmas gifts in several categories such as books, music, software, hardware and more. Shop 'til your heart's content and view people's wish lists, create a wish list and more, so no one is forgotten during the holiday season.
M usic : No Christmas time would be complete without holiday music. I mean, how many times do we get in the mood for the holidays, but get screwed out of good holiday songs. I mean, radio stations will play some songs here and there, and may have a special Christmas song-filled day on the holiday, but what about when you are feeling in the festive mood right now? What do you have to listen to? This site takes you to a 24 hour a day Christmas station that plays songs from various CDs, lists the song, shows a picture of the CD and allows you to skip from song to song as you wish. Pretty cool. Now, you can hear, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, the song that traumatized poor Michael Jackson, and made him the man he is today.
C ontests : This page is cool as it give you an opportunity to win cool prizes, like a Playstation 2. Damn bastards! (Read BANDWIDTH's Opinion on the Playstation 2 Conspiracy) Why wait on line for six hours? If I knew all I had to do was be lucky enough to win one, I would have visited Christmas.com everyday. I know, I am Happy Fun Heart now, so I can't be cruel. LALALALA. OK, I am happy again!

Christmas.com is a pretty unique site. It is informative, fun and a tool of utmost importance during the Christmas season. Even now, with Christmas over, I find it fun to once in awhile visit the site and make myself feel all warm and fuzzy inside. After all, there is less than a year till Christmas. Better get shopping. Let's just hope they don't make a Grinch Part 2. That would make all my Christmas wishes come true.
