This year's I-Con was fun filled and most of informative! I was fortunate enough to attend an Anthropomorphic costume-making panel headed by Erika Leigh Rosengarten. Erika was informative and showed the process step-by-step. She was able to take a tedious process and make it exciting!
I was also fortunate to catch the end of Kristen Nelson veteran voice-over actress of such hits like Boogie Pop Phantom gave a fantastic presentation on the voice-over industry pluses and minuses. She was honest and provided practical information for those seeking to a career in this area.
The dealer room this year was fuller and bigger than ever, but a little pricey. Overall the selections leaned toward the medieval costuming set and of course were beautifully done. I wish there were more dealers for anime and manga, but there is next year!
