Kane and Lita's Love Has Stood the Test of Time COPYRIGHT WWE ALL RIGHTS RESERVED     Hey yo!!! This is the Badseed, back for a moment. I would like to apologize, but lately things have been going bad for the Badseed. I find myself at a crossroads in life; not just in one area, which is hard enough, but it appears God has thrown me a million curve balls and my life has been hit with a number of choices that I need to make. Hence, I have lost my smile, to quote a famous wrestling promo. I just have not been into wrestling as much.

I taped Smackdown and didn't watch it until last night. The same for NWA TNA Impact. I ordered the PPV and sat at my computer, not paying total attention to the PPV like I usually do. Call it a drought or a depression, but at 28 years old, life has become a lot harder than the days when the hardest decision was choosing between regular and chocolate milk at lunch. I wish life was just a little simpler, but life is really hard and when you have hard decisions to make, it saps the energy out of you and makes the good things in life not mean as much as they meant before; dragged into a black hole of despair. So, on that note, I felt that I should get out a Badseed's Bottomline and I cannot promise when I will get another one out at the moment. Just know that when I start getting them out regular again, that it will continue to be a regular edition each and every week. I thank you all for understanding and I hope I still have it.

I am reading the columns on other sites and something is really bothering me. The people are calling for a return to one roster and I just can't agree with that. I really cannot find any reason why they should make the roster one again. I think the way it is, is fine. Call me stupid, but I believe the roster split has created new stars and for that reason, these columnists want to see the rosters merge to see stars like Cena fight Orton and so on.

The fact of the matter is this, Randy Orton would not be that big a star if he had to get through Kurt Angle, John Cena, Undertaker or Eddie Guerrero. HHH would dominate one stable and the pushes of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit would have never happened in the first place. Benoit was pushed because he was able to break through on Smackdown, before he was switched. Eddie Guerrero's rise to the top would have never occured on Raw. John Cena would have been punked out, ebcause he would not be allowed to say the things he wanted to say to HHH. Kurt Angle would never be allowed to be world champion as many times as he has been, nor would he have had thaty classic feud with Brock Lesnar for the title if HHH was hogging the spotlight. Maybe in a HHH-less world, a roster split is not needed, but with HHH needing to be on top in some form or another, whether he deserves it or not, the split is needed.

Now, getting away from HHH for a second, I really think Christian would not be a top heel if the rosters were merged, nor do I think Rey Mysterio would be considered a top level face. I think the JBL title win would have never happened and you can call that a good thing, but it proved that the WWE will try to create more stars and look what they have done for Orlando Jordan. If one thing the JBL angle did right, it was to push Orlando Jordan out of Velocity purgatory. Finally, how great has Shelton Benjamin been? Did you hear the pop he got when he ran out and saved Randy Orton? It was pretty good considering that he has not been a singles star for long. How far would he have gotten had the rosters not split?

Here is the only reason why the split has hurt the business. The tag-teams suck. I really hate the fact that the WWE has not really tried hard to develop their tag-team roster. I really like Tajiri and Rhyno. I think Hurricane and Rosey could be cool if they did something with them. I like La Resistance. That's basically it, though. I mean, you could call Benoit and Regal a team, but I think the WWE dropped the ball by not pushing Eugene slowly and having him win the tag-team titles with Regal. Christian and Tomko is only good when Tomko learns to wrestle and when they can't do anything with Christian. HBK and Y2J has potential, because of their history together. Flair and Batista is a team I never liked, cause Orton and Batista was better in my mind and HHH and Flair made more sense.

On Smackdown, they got rid of Kidman and London before they even had time to gel together. This was an awesome team and they are already looking like they will split for sure. In all honesty, what they should do is build some tension with a short term feud at the next PPV and then have Kidman land the shooting star press on London to a big pop from the crowd, leading to the team reforming and taking a more traditional road to the titles. In addition, Suzuki and Dupree make sense as a team for some reason. They have similar gimmicks, only Suzuki pretends to like America. I think their win is really setting up for RVD and Mysterio to take the titles. I wish they would find something for FBI to do now that they have turned face. Why not put Shannon Moore and Scotty Too Hotty together? The Bashams need a push again and they should, because they are a more traditional team. it's time to let them talk on their own and see what's up. The Dudley Boys are always hot and it looks like Rico and Haas will reform, which was a fun team, but the fact of the matter is, tag-team wrestling used to be really hot and now it is a shell of its former self. It always goes through a resurrgence, but how long will it be when we can finally have an era like the one we had with the Killer Bees, Hart Foundation, British Bulldogs, Strike Force, Demolition, Powers of Pain, Brain Busters and Rockers or the era we had with DX, Too Cool, Edge and Christian, the Dudley Boys and the Hardies? There's your only real excuse why the split is not a great idea.

The fans want the roster to merge because they want to see those dream matches between Orton and Cena or HHH and Angle, which would be fresh nowadays, now that Angle has had the opportunity to really grow. We want to see Shelton vs. Haas. Hell, Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit would be even more awesome now than ever before. It is for this reason that the split should not occur. Dream matches are what will make Wrestlemania a hot PPV of matches we have never seen before or in a long time. How many people popped to see Cena and Orton confront one another at Summerslam?

Real quick: I like Kane and Lita’s angle, because it is playing out exactly like I said it would. I knew this would be the beginning of a face turn for Kane, who is upset over what has happened with his baby. It is not that outlandish. The WWE is always over the top, so it makes sense that they would go crazy with the angle, but the root of it all is that Kane is looking for acceptance and wants what other people have. It has always been a part of his angle. He treats it, like many of us do, like it doesn’t really matter to him, but the minute, what he called his possession, was injured, his true colors shined. This has the makings of some interesting angles. He better fight HBK one more time, though, because that was some nasty violence he pulled off, to only warrant one match between the two.

I am happy to see Gangrel back. He was a great wrestler. It would make sense to bring him on to Raw and have him reunite the Brood, although making it something completely different. On the other hand, please send Viscera back to where he came from.

Do not turn the Dudley Boys face so soon. That makes no sense. The heel group is just what they needed to bring life back into something very stale.

     Heidenreich makes me laugh.

Monty Brown is the future of wrestling. The future dream match: Monty Brown vs. Brock Lesnar.

If I was writing this column every week, I could have told you that Dusty Rhodes was going to bring back the Midnight Rider gimmick.

I think the Simon Dean promo is hilarious. Carlito Caribbean Cool needs some work. I hope his ring work is a lot better than his elementary school promo.

If Eugene is not popular, why do fans still seem to give him a massive pop when he comes to the ring? Doesn’t a live audience mean something since they are the ones buying merchandise?

Victory Road looks hot. Please succeed. The WWE needs some real competition and they need it quick.

Brooke Hogan is hot, but she is showing signs of her father’s look right away and when she gets older, she may not be so attractive. He may want to let her date now. Oh yeah; her song is not really good, but she can definitely sing. How is that for constructive criticism?

Well, I felt good writing again, but I hope to get things out on a more consistent basis. Until next time, remember that It’s All the Same Wherever You May Go; the Sky’s the Sky and People are People. Peace
