Moulann is a 22-year-old music sensation who can write, sing and play the piano. Moulann delivers a combination of pop, rock and electronica with smooth vocals and an alluring voice that drags you in and keeps you there. Growing up in Canada, She racked up awards and scholarships for her music before releasing her first CD. Already established princess on the now defunct MP3.com, Moulann gathered herself a loyal following and it is easy to see why.
Introflective is very upbeat right from the opening dance track, Can’t Stop Myself. You are irresistible to me/you are too incredible to be true/I can’t stop myself from loving you/though it’s obvious that I am a fool/And my heart keeps going back to you/when you’re near me/I just lose my cool. Very catchy and fun; she has a very nice voice and this song really is what a dance song should be.
She can also sing those sad, but uplifting ballads, like the moving Over Again and can even go for the rapid-fire quick hitting tracks like A Little Contact, which is a song with a great arrangement. Stressed Out was the hot track I found myself vibing to. Stressed out/burned out/running behind my plans/stressed out/burned out/all the time/stressed out/burned out/behind my expectations/stressed out/burned out/all the time. Not only was this song infectious, but also it was certainly one I can identify with.
Amitofa was another track that I found cool, surprisingly so, because there is only one word uttered over and over again with different inflections, but it still kicked ass! Finally, Where Did Forever Go is the song that should be on the radio so I can cry myself to sleep at night. Tell me why you left me/if deep inside you knew you were still in love/maybe things would work/if you told me what you were thinking of…Where did forever go/I really need to know/how you make me fall to my knees/by bringing back those memories/when did all those promises end/Will I find the strength to love again/How could you take my soul and break my heart in two/Don’t you know I gave myself to you?
Now, that’s some honest, deep, heartfelt and powerful stuff. Making a connection with your audience is the key to success. It’s time music lovers made a connection with Moulann.
