You know, it's sad, the things that make you laugh. The site, Stick Figure Death Theatre, is one of those guilty pleasures that you can't get enough of.
This site contains many short animated movies, in which you can watch stick figures die in countless ways. Funny enough, these movies sometimes have actual plot lines and there are several categories on the site that you can choose from. Examples of these categories are crime, war, monsters, and (the best in my opinion) Movie and TV takeoffs.
Another bonus is that this site isn't just for stick figure death movies by the site's creators. Movie makers have the freedom to submit their very own movies under certain conditions, of course. As the website states, the movie you are submitting definitely must have stick figures and of course, death. The site also has a wide selection of these short films, and also has lists sitting the Top 5 videos of the week, and the Top 50 on the site. Members of the site can vote for their favorite movies, and there is even a message board where members can exchange movie making tips, talk up their own movies, and just chat in general.
I have to wonder where the creators of such a deliciously morbid site came up with an idea like this, but I have to admit that I was quite surprised at how many times I could watch a stick figure die and still find it hilarious! Does that make me weird? Besides the overall fun of the site, the place also gives people a place to showcase their movie making talents.
