Faust and Shortee, romantic Faust and Shortee All Rights Reserved couple turned DJ entrepreneurs, are once again hitting the club scene with a wicked knack for mixing songs and giving people a killer beat to dance to. Faust and Shortee have released some very good mix CDs on their own, but there two turntable masters really click together, knowing exactly what the other is thinking without talking or skipping a beat. The Virginia couple has launched two new kick-ass CDs that will satisfy everyone's varied musical tastes.

Their second major release, Satisfaction Guaranteed, is a collection of original, energetic and drum-driven anthems that cover hip-hop, funk, jazz and a variety of other genres. I really enjoy their hip-hop mixes more, strictly because I am a huge fan of hip-hop music, but these two DJs truly demonstrate a talent for bringing different types of music together. They can mix that Rock-N-Roll sound and the Jazz beat and really bring it all together for that bumping musical masterpiece we all want playing in our heads as we walk in our own private little music video.

You will be dragged into a whirlwind of heavy bass hits, relentless Jazz drums, percussion solos, big band horns, funky bass guitars, countless drum beats, swinging saxophones, jazzy pianos and fresh vocal samples; a world ruled by Faust and Shortee. My two favorite tracks are the World Famous, with some really cool narrative reminiscent of the old Sunscreen song, and the Main Event where the duo masterfully place some of our boxing greats' dialogue, paying homage to our heroes in a way Will Smith never could. Throughout the CD, Faust and Shortee prove that they are truly the greatest on the turntables.

However, if you had any doubts, look no further than Another Dope Hip Hop Remix. This CD is where I truly felt myself become one with the music. Faust and Shortee just keep getting better and better, showing the world that they don't just put out another CD without evolving their style and getting better with each release. I loved their previous releases, but there was something about their latest works; a deeper level; an increased level of maturity; something that puts Faust and Shortee right along the same company of a DJ Clue or Funkmaster Flex.

You don't hear this kind of mixing anymore. I love the sound of a turntable mixing. It brings me back to a simpler time when DJ equipment first became a musical instrument. Some of the songs were just so intense and abstract works of art with a mixture of well-known classics like the saxophone sounds from Rump Shaker and the looped Gimme a Beat, from Janet Jackson to lesser known songs and beats all of their own. Forget Pink, Faust and Shortee know how to get this party started.

Both CDs are perfect party CDs and Faust and Shortee really know how to mix the various beats right. Go to www.faustandshortee.com to learn more about the popular Dynamic Dup of the turntables and buy the CD. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
