Ok, I Cover of Sins of the Sisters Copyright Central Park Medialet the obvious blasphemous Christian themes of Angel Sanctuary go. And the reason I did was because the way God, the angels, and demons were portrayed was very far-fetched and more mythological. But Sins of the Sisters was not. Though based on some far fetched historically based situations, its portrayal of religious themes, history, and people was full of unnecessary sex, violence, and sex, that it made me ashamed to be an anime fan.

Sins of the Sisters opens with a group of young Crusaders being sent to Palestine (now Israel) to reclaim the Holy Land for the Catholic Church. Unbeknownst to the young group of Crusaders is that the Pope has betrayed them and is instead sending the young Crusaders to West Africa to where they will be sold into slavery.

The leader of the band of youth is a boy named Hans who upon his death swears to avenge his pals against a God that allowed his Crusaders to be thrown into the arms of evil. Hans returns to Earth sometime in the Twentieth Century as a Japanese schoolgirl named Aiko. Aiko and a band of her Catholic School friends (who were amongst the forsaken youth Crusaders) from St. Michaela's Academy lead a revolt, which results in the end of all religions, and consequently all of world history prior to the revolution.

Yuki a young peasant woman begins to have strange dreams of a time and love lost. Her dreams lead her into the past, where she meets herself (at least I think), Hans, and his friends. There Yuki and the girls of St. Michaela's are in a race for the future. Both are after Hans and his friends Yuki to change history and Aiko to maintain the present.

Amongst all of this is plenty of lesbian sex, forced oral sex with the pope, chastity belts and angel wings. I actually think my review gives the story more of an edge than the actual thing. Just to let you know how bad this anime was it took me four weeks to watch this series. I began watching it before I went to Florida in early August and finished it nearly a week and half later after I returned from Florida in early September. I implore you to save your money for something artistic and controversial like Angel Sanctuary. Sins of the Sisters=Sins of the Uncreative Thieves.
